i recently scored an internship at a showroom in downtown LA. they rep some very legit and amazingly designed brands. today, i want to feature LOVA. it is a label coming out of LA started by three guys who have amazing style and taste in designing. i am looking forward to some samples “falling on my lap,” i hear it is a perk of the job. it is going to be an adventure seeing this brand grow and blow up.

i recently purchased a speedlite 430 and semi-fisheye for my canon g7. i have been experimenting here and there, but have yet to really experience the full usage of these accessories. here are some out-takes…
saturday afternoon i went up to LA LA LAnd for a quick meeting and then to hang out with my good friend adam kalma. unfortunately, i forgot my camera to document our adventures, but i bummed some the world wide web. LA is winning me over every time i visit there. i really like where the city is going. adam and i enjoyed a great dinner in los feliz at trattoria farfalla then had dessert at their sister restaurant 3 doors down, vinoteca:
then we made our way to citizen smith in hollywood. we had a couple cocktails and enjoyed a snack of nachos. truly amazing and a great night.
after sleeping in we made our way to the farmers market and indulged in crepes. we then went over to LACMA and enjoyed a couple hours of art…..
soon enough i will be moving out to belmont heights, loma and broadway, with rob. i came to the conclusion that we are at that age when college frat boy house is out and cool independent young adults is in. and with this mindset, it is time to invest into good, quality furniture…..

went to washington for a long week with my brother kevin. got to visit the grandparents and other family. adventures included:
bowling, wine tasting, food adventures, movie-vantage point (HORRIBLE), mellow book reading (’service included’ by phoebe damrosch and ‘how to be good’ by nick hornby)days by the fire, night out with the cousins at KINGS in ballard, and concluded with a trip to BLACKBIRD clothing store.
